4 Associates of Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh were Sent to Police Custody till March 23

In a recent development, four associates of Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh were produced in Baba Bakala Court in Amritsar. The associates, namely Bhupinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Sukhmanjeet Singh, and Harpreet Singh, were sent to police custody until 23 March. The information was provided by Advocate H Shekhon, who is representing the accused in court.

According to the lawyer, the four associates are linked to FIR no 26 at Khilchian Police Station under sections 279, 506, 636, and 186 of IPC. The court has given custody till 23 March, and some weapons recoveries are to be made from them. The lawyer did not provide further details on the matter.

It is noteworthy that Waris Punjab De is a political organization based in Punjab. Amritpal Singh is the chief of the organization, and his associates were arrested in connection with a case registered at Khilchian Police Station.

The charges against them include rash driving, criminal intimidation, and obstructing a public servant in the discharge of public functions.
