It is equipped with enhanced features and incorporates L1 band signals to expand the range of services offered by NavIC. Notably, NVS-01 carries India’s first indigenous atomic clock, further showcasing the nation’s technological prowess in space exploration.

The successful launch of GSLV-F12/NVS-01 represents a significant step forward for ISRO’s space program. The advanced navigation capabilities provided by NavIC will benefit various sectors, including transportation, agriculture, disaster management, and telecommunications, among others. NavIC has already gained recognition for its accuracy and reliability, and the second-generation satellites will enhance its capabilities even further.

In a bid to involve citizens and provide them with an opportunity to witness the launch firsthand, ISRO has made arrangements for the general public to register at The Launch View Gallery at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota, offers an incredible vantage point to witness the awe-inspiring event.

By allowing citizens to witness such launches, ISRO aims to foster interest and inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

The successful launch of GSLV-F12 and NVS-01 serves as a testament to the indomitable spirit and expertise of the scientists and engineers at ISRO. Their relentless pursuit of excellence continues to propel India’s space program to new heights, bringing the nation closer to achieving its space exploration goals.

With each successful mission, ISRO solidifies its position as a leading player in the global space industry, further cementing India’s reputation as a spacefaring nation.
