Yashoda Pandey, the mother of renowned Indian former NDTV prime-time journalist Ravish Kumar, passed away on 2 May, leaving the entire family in a state of grief. The news of her passing has saddened many of Ravish Kumar’s followers and colleagues in the media fraternity.
According to sources close to the family, Yashoda Pandey had been unwell for some time and had been undergoing treatment. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she succumbed to her illness, leaving behind a void that will be difficult to fill.
Ravish Kumar, who is known for his hard-hitting journalism, has won several awards for his work in the field. His colleagues in the media industry have expressed their condolences and offered their support to him during this difficult time.
