NEET 2023 Application Form Released – Everything You Need to Know

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 application form has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website, neet.nta.nic.in, and ntaneet.nic.in. The NEET (UG) is also applicable for admission to undergraduate courses in BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS disciplines of the Indian System of Medicine, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020.

MNS aspirants seeking admission to the BSc Nursing Course conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2023 are also required to qualify for NEET, and the NEET score will be used for shortlisting for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing course.

The Entrance Test will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology), with 50 questions in each subject divided into two sections (A and B).

The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time) and will be uniform for all candidates.

NEET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Application Process

  • The NEET 2023 application form can only be filled out online, and there is no provision for offline mode
  • Candidates must first register on the official website using their name, contact details, and email ID
  • The application fee for NEET 2023 is ₹ 1700/- for general, ₹ 1600/- for general-EWS OBC candidates, while SC/ST, PwBD, and third-gender candidates need to pay ₹ 1000/-.
  • For candidates who are willing to take centers outside India need to pay ₹ 9500/-
  • Candidates can pay the application fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  • Candidates must also upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format while filling out the application form.
  • After submitting the application form, candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website of NTA

Required Documents & Photographs

In order to complete their application process successfully, candidates are required to submit the necessary documents in the specified file formats of JPG and PDF. These documents include a clear and visible signature, a high-quality photograph, as well as both left and right-hand thumb impressions.

Error Correction

In case of any discrepancies or errors in the application form, candidates will have a chance to make corrections during the NEET 2023 correction window.

Exam Pattern
