Sharad Pawar Warns Against Ignoring Constitution and Law

NCP chief Sharad Pawar has warned against ignoring the Constitution and law, stating that such actions could lead the country down the wrong path. Speaking at an Iftar party in Mumbai, Pawar emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and the Constitution in the functioning of the country.

“A country runs as per the Constitution and law. If ruling forces inculcate the habit of taking steps by ignoring the Constitution and law, we will go down the wrong path,” Pawar said. “If taking steps by forgetting law & Constitution and by taking the law into hands is spoken of and if attempts are made to create such an atmosphere, it is not right for the nation.”

Pawar’s comments come amid concerns over the increasing trend of political parties and leaders disregarding the rule of law and the Constitution in their actions and statements. The NCP chief’s warning serves as a timely reminder of the importance of upholding these fundamental values in the functioning of the country.

Pawar, a seasoned politician and former Union Minister, has been vocal about the need to protect the democratic values enshrined in the Constitution. His comments at the Iftar party were met with applause from the attendees, who recognized the significance of his message.

The NCP chief’s remarks also come at a time when the country is grappling with a number of challenges, including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, rising inflation, and a volatile political environment. Pawar’s words are a call to action for all citizens and leaders to prioritize the rule of law and the Constitution in their actions and decisions.

As the country continues to navigate these challenging times, it is crucial that we remain committed to upholding the principles of democracy and the rule of law. Pawar’s message serves as a reminder that the strength of a nation lies in its commitment to these fundamental values.
