Bihar Tourism Sees Greater Footfall than Goa, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav

A recent statement from Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav of Bihar, Patna has highlighted the potential for tourism in the state.

Yadav noted that Bihar has a greater tourist footfall than Goa, with visitors coming from many South Asian Buddhist countries for ‘Pind Daan‘ ceremonies, among other reasons.

However, Yadav also noted that the challenge lies in ensuring tourists spend more time in the state. He has called for the development of better tourist infrastructure to provide a more comfortable stay for visitors and to attract more people to the state.

Yadav also highlighted the need to promote tourism in the state, both domestically and internationally, in order to increase tourist footfall.

Yadav’s statement has come at a time when Bihar is making giant strides in terms of economic development.

He added that the government is focused on providing an impetus to the state’s tourism sector, as this will help create further job opportunities and aid in the state’s overall development.
