In the aftermath of the violent clashes that erupted in Haryana’s Nuh district, the state’s Home Minister, Anil Vij, made a statement drawing attention to what he believes is a “big game plan” behind the incident. The violence, which began in Nuh and spread to other parts of the state, has claimed the lives of six individuals and resulted in significant damage to property.
Minister Vij emphasized the need for a thorough and objective investigation into the matter. He pointed out that the presence of individuals carrying lathis and arranged weapons, as well as their strategic gathering at entry points and hills next to temples, indicates a well-coordinated and planned approach to the violence.
“We will not rush to an early conclusion without a thorough investigation being done,” stated Minister Vij, emphasizing the importance of allowing law enforcement agencies to examine all aspects of the situation before drawing any conclusions.
In response to the unrest, internet services were temporarily suspended in the affected areas to prevent the spread of misinformation and further escalation of tensions. However, the Home Minister assured the public that these services would be restored once the situation improves.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also addressed the violence, vowing that no one involved in the clashes would be spared. He promised that the government would take strict action against those responsible for the violence and ensure that they are held accountable for their actions.
The government has already detained over 100 individuals for questioning in connection with the riots, and multiple First Information Reports (FIRs) have been filed to initiate a comprehensive investigation.
