Israel Under Attack: 5,000 Rockets Launched, “State of War Alert” Declared

In a rapidly escalating situation, Israel is facing a barrage of rockets as Hamas fighters seized Israeli houses, prompting an emergency response from the Israeli government. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called an emergency meeting and declared a state of war, launching “Operation Iron Sword” in response to the attacks.

The situation unfolded when Hamas militants unleashed an onslaught of approximately 5,000 rockets on Israeli territories. This aggressive move has raised serious concerns about the escalating conflict in the region, as Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Be’er Sheva, found themselves under a relentless barrage of rocket fire.

In the face of this grave threat, Prime Minister Netanyahu took swift action, declaring a state of war and initiating “Operation Iron Sword” with the goal of protecting Israeli citizens and restoring peace. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have been put on high alert, and the Israeli Air Force has launched airstrikes against terror targets in Gaza, a known stronghold of Hamas.

The IDF has been working diligently to intercept and neutralize incoming rockets, utilizing its Iron Dome missile defense system to protect populated areas. However, despite their best efforts, some rockets have penetrated the defenses, causing injuries and damage.

The people of Israel, particularly those living in the affected areas, are urged to remain vigilant and follow the guidance of local authorities. Safety measures, including seeking shelter in designated areas, are of paramount importance as the conflict evolves.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
