A shocking incident of abduction and forced conversion has come to light from Nawada, Bihar. According to the police, a man identified as Musharraf Alam abducted a 16-year-old Hindu girl from the area and married her after converting her to Islam.
The accused then posted a picture of himself with the girl on social media, where she can be seen wearing a hijab. The incident came to light on April 25, 2023, when the girl’s family lodged a complaint with the Warisaliganj police station.
The police immediately launched an investigation into the matter and managed to track down the accused in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The minor was rescued by the police on May 9, 2023, and the accused was taken into custody.
