10,000 Electric Buses to Transform 100 Cities

Under the PM E-Bus Seva Yojana, a total of 10,000 electric buses will be deployed in 100 cities, marking a significant leap towards a cleaner and climate-resilient future. The move is in line with India’s commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable urban mobility.

AC Electric Buses in Bihar

As part of this nationwide initiative, several cities in Bihar are set to receive their share of AC electric buses, providing not only eco-friendly transportation but also enhancing the overall commuting experience. The distribution of electric buses in Bihar is as follows:

  1. Patna: A fleet of 150 AC electric buses will hit the streets.
  2. Darbhanga: The city will welcome 50 AC electric buses.
  3. Bhagalpur: A total of 50 AC electric buses will contribute to cleaner air.
  4. Gaya: Residents of Gaya can expect 50 AC electric buses for their daily commute.
  5. Muzaffarpur: The city will receive 50 AC electric buses, promoting sustainable transportation.
  6. Purnea: Purnea is set to have 50 AC electric buses, furthering the cause of cleaner mobility.
