Government of India Expands Reach to Challenging Terrains with “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra”

New Delhi: The Government of India is extending its services to even the most challenging locations as part of the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.” This initiative has provided a unique platform for residents in Gram Panchayat, Parkachik, and Skamboo in the Kargil District to learn about various government schemes and strategies for winter water management.

In a progressive move towards inclusive development of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to interact with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on November 30. During this interaction, the Prime Minister will launch the “Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra,” emphasizing women-led development.

Under this initiative, 15,000 drones will be provided to women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) over the next three years, empowering them with modern technology for efficient agricultural practices.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi is set to dedicate the landmark 10,000th “Jan Aushadi Kendra” at AIIMS Deoghar, marking a significant milestone in providing affordable healthcare. Furthermore, he will launch a program aimed at increasing the number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the country from the current 10,000 to 25,000.

These initiatives are a testament to the government’s commitment to fulfilling promises made by the Prime Minister during this year’s Independence Day speech, demonstrating a proactive approach towards comprehensive and accessible development across the nation.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra stands as a beacon of transformative outreach within the Viksit Bharat Campaign, one of the most expansive initiatives undertaken by the Government of India. This ambitious campaign, marked by its scale and vision, aspires to leave no corner untouched, with a goal to encompass over 2.55 lakh Gram Panchayats and 3,600 urban local bodies by January 25, 2024.

As a testament to the government’s commitment to comprehensive development, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap and bringing the benefits of governance to the doorstep of even the most challenging and remote locations
