  3. Scheduled Caste: The report identified 2,56,89,820 individuals as Scheduled Caste members, accounting for 19.6518% of the total population.
  4. Scheduled Tribe: A smaller percentage, 21,99,361 individuals, were categorized as Scheduled Tribe, representing 1.6824% of the state’s population.
  5. Unreserved: The Unreserved category accounted for 2,02,91,679 individuals, making up 15.5224% of Bihar’s population.

Total Population: The cumulative data reveals that Bihar’s population in 2022 was reported at 13,07,25,310 individuals, with each caste category contributing to the diversity of the state.
