New Delhi – Nokia India, a leading player in the telecommunications and technology sector, had the distinct honor of welcoming the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to their booth on the inaugural day of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023.

Sanjay Malik, Senior Vice President and Head of the India Market at Nokia, took the stage to emphasize the company’s pivotal role in India’s innovation journey. Malik pointed out Nokia’s significant contributions, including indigenous, homegrown products, a strong research and development infrastructure, and the establishment of a dedicated 6G lab. Additionally, he highlighted Nokia’s instrumental role in fostering a dynamic startup ecosystem with a wide range of applications and use cases.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the audience at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023, underscored the importance of the 21st century as a period of thought leadership for India. It is important to note that the High Commission of India informed that the Cellular Association of India (COAI) organized the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023. Themed ‘Global Digital Innovation,’ this event took place between October 27 and 29, 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
India Mobile Congress (IMC) is recognized as the largest telecom, media, and technology forum in Asia. It is jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
