Following the latest development in the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder case, the Delhi Police Crime Branch has successfully apprehended three suspects, including the alleged shooters, in connection with the murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
The arrest took place last evening in Chandigarh, where the two shooters, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, were captured. A third individual, identified as Udham, who was with them during their period of absconding, has also been taken into custody.
The joint operation involved the Rajasthan Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the Delhi Police Special, led by ADG Dinesh MN and Jaipur Commissioner Biju George.
Mobile phones belonging to the accused have been recovered. The Delhi Police Crime Branch has safely transported all three suspects to Delhi, and they are currently en route to Jaipur for further legal proceedings.
The nation was shocked by the tragic incident in which Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was fatally shot at his Jaipur residence on Tuesday. A total of 17 shots were fired during the incident. The entire society is now awaiting what many believe will be an encounter with the culprits as a final tribute to the late Sukhdev Singh Ji Gogamedi.
